Subject: Not That Bad
Hancock lampoons a few of the characters of British society at the end of the 1950s- the local government 'jobsworth' types, officialdom, and professional layabouts and protesters. It's even worse now!

A council official turns up and declares a tree in Hancock's front garden to be a menace to passing traffic (and spoiling the uniformity of an otherwise treeless street). To stop them cutting it down, he organises a protest march with the aid of 'protesters' who hire out their services by the mile.

Not a 'roll around laughing' episode but still amusing.

Subject: Better than Bad
An OK, but forgettable episode. The sets are good. Script is mediocre. The first few minutes are the dullest. The ending is silly. But I like it. Maybe you'll like it more than me. What have you got to lose?
